Principal Veterinarian

Tony graduated from the University of Dublin in 1990 with a honours degree.

After a brief time working in Ireland, he moved overseas to work in Asia and the Middle East, before moving to Australia with his family in 2002, to settle on the Sunshine Coast.

His area of particular interest in small animals are feline medicine and ophtalmology.







Jacintha Jacinta McArthur
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

Jacinta graduated as a veterinary nurse from Brisbane North Institute Tafe in 2012. She grew up in the countryside at Roma and has owned a variety of animals over the years, from horses to snakes.

Before starting her studies, Jacinta worked at a pet resort and volunteered at several animal charities, confirming that she wanted to pursue a career in vet nursing : she couldn't imagine not working with animals every day. She has a special interest in small animal dentistry and animal behaviour.

Jacinta's love of animals has ultimately brought home 3 dogs, 1 cat and 2 fighting fish. In her free time, Jacinta enjoy taking her dogs down the beach for a run, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.

Salete grew up in India and Abu Dhabi. She and her husband Tony travelled and worked in Singapore and Ireland before moving to the Sunshine Coast with their three children because of the great life style it has to offer for families.

Salete was instrumental in establishing The Park Vet Clinic and enjoys supporting her excellent team of vets and nurses.

 In her free time, she enjoys running, cooking and going to the beach with her family.
