Dr Tony Doherty Principal Veterinarian

MVB (Hons) MANZCVS

Tony graduated from the University of Dublin in 1990 with a honours degree.

After a brief time working in Ireland, he moved overseas to work in Asia and the Middle East, before moving to Australia with his family in 2002, to settle on the Sunshine Coast.

His area of particular interest in small animals are Feline medicine and ophthalmology.

When not working Tony enjoys spending time with his family or cycling.

Dr Dylan LauVeterinarian

BVSc (Hons)

Dylan graduated from the University of Queensland in 2020 with a honours degree.

Dylan has previously worked for 2 years as a  Veterinary Technician after obtaining a Diploma in Veterinary Technology in Singapore. During his time at the University of queensland he worked at various small animal clinics and shelters

Dylan has a domestic short hair cat named Panda and his area of particular interest are Feline medicine and surgery.

Georgie RyanVet Nurse

Cert IV in animal studies

Georgie grew up in the Sunshine Coast. Georgie has always loved animals and was a keen equestrian rider when she was young. She has two cats (Burrito and Little Puss) and a kelpie dog(Bella).She joined Park Vets in 2019 and enjoys the variety of work with small animals and horses at the clinic.

Georgie spends most of her free time with her two beautiful active kids and husband going to the beach, hiking and keeping active. 

Georgie is excited at the opportunity to further expand her veterinary nursing skills and is in the process of completing her Cert 4 in Veterinary Nursing.

Paige JohnstonsVeterinary Nurse Trainee

Paige grew up in the Sunshine Coast. Paige has recently joined the practice as a trrainee and is enjoying the many and varied aspects of veterinary nursing.  

In her free time, she enjoys competing on the local showjumping circuit and spending time with her cutie Mini Foxie Eddie. She hopes to shortly commnece her formal Veterinary Nursing training

Melissa TaylorVet Nurse

Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing

Melissa worked as a Vet nurse for 10 years in Mornington, Victoria, before recently moving to the Sunshine coast. She has joned our clinic as our senior small animal veterinary nurse.

Melissa spends most of time with her family, husband, Dale, and daughter.
